La Bournerie is a good gem nestled right on the ski slopes of Le Grand-Bornand, and my recent stay was everything I hoped for. The charm of this authentic Savoyard chalet, dating back to 1802, immediately enveloped us, and the warm welcome from Natalie and Terry made it feel like a home away from home. Ski-in/ski-out access was a dream, allowing us to pop back for a leisurely lunch or a warming drink after a day on the slopes. The communal areas, complete with a pool table and a cozy bar, were perfect for unwinding with friends after an exhilarating day of skiing, and the hearty half-board meals, featuring delicious local cuisine, kept us fueled for our adventures. I can't recommend La Bournerie enough; its charm, stellar service, and location have left me eager to return.
